I think the stock shocks leak. I would bleed them with 0 rebound and wait hour or so and check again and they had rebound. So I ended up just putting my spare Rb6 shocks on the xb4.

Default Shimming the diff?

Has anyone tried shimming the diff before you ever ran the car. I was think about doing it before running mine for the first time Friday. I was planning on putting the nt1 gears in anyways. The only thing that could happens is I still damage the gears. Just putting a 0.1mm shim behind the gears right?

That means there are two black washers on the shock shaft inside of the shock body. This shortens the total shock travel thus limiting the down travel of the arms.

I shimmed mine that exact way. Without the shim there was a lot of side to side play in the diff case. Too much for me to ignore.

Just to clear something up - have people had issues with the diff gears themselves breaking (the sun and satellite gears) or the ring and pinion gear?

From my understanding, it's the diff gears themselves, but XRAY included a spare set of pinion and ring gears in the kit...

I seen 2 of these cars in action last night at my local track and they look amazingly good, they look more composed than any other car on the market....cant wait to see Josh run his!

Let Xray sift through these problems and address them, this car looks crazy good on indoor medium bite/partial clay track!

Anyone tried some JB weld or metal Epoxy on the front bulkhead yet. Had a 2nd crack today.. Mind you it did have a few heavy hits! so not too surprised, Just wondering how to try and add some strength to the case. Any engineer chaps have a good idea how/where to put the putty inside corner/outside ect?

0.1 shim behind each of the satellite gears correct?

Your gears on the ends,(sun gears) to push them in and take out slack between them and the planetary gears, If I remember correctly.
