Yeah. It is very flimsy. I picked up a couple packs of the high clearance wings. Much better quality. Have a jconcepts body on the way got it as well.

Lol.. I think I know exactly who you are referring to.

So on to the serious stuff. I know that exotek makes high grade shit. No argument there. But in your opinion of the following after market parts. Which are must haves, like to haves and unnecessary. Drive boots are a must and are going on the car as I type this, hexes to run ae, kyosho rims are a must. Aluminum steering stuff. Like to have? Or unnecessary? Aluminum shock caps. This is the big one. Kind of expensive. I'm sure they are top notch. But my gut is telling me unnessesary. My logic behind it is this. Carbon towers, plastic shock caps. Something has got to give. And I am willing to accept the cap giving before a $40.00 dollar tower. Whaduya stink?

Must Haves:
Dust boots
Alum CVD Caps
Various spring & oils
Practice time

Nice to Haves:
Alum bleeder shock caps - $40 for Exotek is a deal. Xray OEM is $80.
Smokem Racing 3.5mm cf shock towers (extra camber holes)
Avid pistons

Bling for bling's sake:
Aluminum knuckles, steering bridge, rear hubs etc.

@jpcopeland - I'm not sure how you figure that a plastic bleeder cap & a cf tower, one or the other will break in a crash. To me, the plastic caps screw strips fairly easily, so I bought the alum caps - best thing ever. Not a must have, but a really, really nice to have upgrade.

Was less about "getting a finish" than it was about having one entered.
