  • Quote: where did you order the optional hangers?
I ordered at my hobby shop, they said they weren't in the system yet, but once they come I will get them
  • Quote: they'll probably still leak...

    2 methods you can do:

use a grease around the threads to help seal the leak or purchase shock cap orings

cool. wish I had put those on the order thats coming tomorrow...
  • I m missing something on this r hanger mod..
The optional RF + RR hangers must be used together to bring pins up closer to outdrives and the pic of the modded RR hanger looks to do the opposite and drop the pins from the outdrives.
If you keep the camber link in the same spot w/both hangers then it looks like two different animals, yet they say both add rear traction. Maybe forward vs side?
  • Got a 7.5 novak ballistic 2day
what gearing are you guys running????
  • What would the veterans do to the kit set up to get the rear a bit more planted? It's fast how it is but I could use a little more rear bite.
  • side or forward bite?

The hanger mod is used when the bottom plate is not used. It is to bring the whole diff down by 2mm. The optional hangers is to bring the pins up by the same 2mm to the original position.

I supposed this is to help with rear traction.
  • Quote: Just ordered the 2014 version, along with the 363311 nd 363321 optional hangers. For low to md bite track what diff oil wt should I start with? Also this will be my first xray, any build tips?
7k front 3k rear make sure slipper is not set too tight.
  • 7/7 worked well for me on low bite

Thanks, can't wait to get the kit.
  • Got ya on the hanger mod now. Thank You
Haven't pulled the diffs yet but the rear is def lighter than the front.
Looking for more side bite. It "swings" a little to easy on throttle infield but still very controllable and drives better than anything else I've owned. Just don't want to chase setup and make to many changes. I'm sure its very simple because it's almost there.
  • 2014s are now supposed to be here middle of next week... FYI
