They are not going due to the 2wd not being ready...nothing to do with the XB4.

You don't stop from going because you don't have a 2wd. You go because you have a 4wd! Time to prove what it's worth! Guess not

Thanks

That thread let me to a quick google search that gave me this interview:
http://www.liverc.com/news/special_f...s_Martin_Hudy/

From the interview:
LiveRC: Will we see a production 2WD at the upcoming IFMAR World Championships?

Martin: No, we are not that far. Due to this plus the limited experience of the factory team at outdoor mud tracks, we decided not to participate at the Worlds this time. We are realistic and need more time.
I think that's a good enough reason

The rest of the article is also very interesting, thanks for making me find it.
I hope they come with a carpet/astro 2wd this winter

Wow I didn't know they would be so honest about it. Seems like an acceptable reason.

no that's not acceptable. You either man up and get the experience at the highest level or you should shut down the whole program all together.

they have some of the most prolific 8 scale buggy drivers, and it's not like this world event was a surprise, what have they been doing all year?

I'm trying to think how to solve this suspension problem.
My car's rear tend to bounce up after landing from large bumps. Do I need to put in a stiffer spring? It is currently one dot now..

They are always extremely active, everywhere.

I can understand that they don't want to go to this worlds. They have been in 1/10 off-road for less than a year.

I might not be the best to judge this, but i seem to remember that this is too thin oil and/or pistons that should have more, but smaller holes to give more pack.

Any time now someone who knows what he is talking about will correct me

What piston and oil ? also is it a single bump/jump or when you have 2-3 bumps in a row ?

That is such a coarse pitch it just looks plenty tough enough to me. Can't imagine how I could destroy that. Those spider gears on the other hand
