I hear the losi SCTE hex's fit right on but it's a 1mm narrow. I was thinking of trying that and a 1mm spacer to correct for it.

Felt like a carpet car. Got comfortable by the main ( haven't drove 4 wheel in 3 years ) ... Qualified 2 and took the win in the a main

Ran a 6.5 reedy 22/81. M4 suburb rear / mc scrub fronts

Gonna go to m4 scrubs Sunday on the front

Gear diffs and build we're best I ever experienced ... This car is amazing
Keep an ear out on the diffs. I'm running original gears shimmed in the front and metal gears in the back. I initially ran unshimmed until the rear bit the dust. Both with the kit 35 bevel gears. Keep this in mind... the update 35t gears are thicker... the metal gears are thicker... so it is possible (I haven't built one up yet) that the combo of the update 35t gear and the metal gears could end up being TIGHT. Whichever way you go just recheck them after some break in time.
I have not yet installed any of the updates on my first xb4, building a second one now with upgrades and such, the diffs are waiting on another set of metal gears.
Yea this car is primo

26.75 b4.1 rear wheel
24.75 xray rear wheel

Those are the measurements I came up with.

I ran my xb4 for the first time with a mix of the kit setup and a local x ray team drivers setup. Felt ok

I had plans to make a last ditch effort to go to the cactus, but the cards didn't play in my favor.

There WILL be a few running there though...

Where did you buy those metal gears? Do you have a part number for it? Thanks.

We've been using the NT1 gears and lightweight alu. pins since "day 1" and have just over 4 weeks, 2 races and countless batteries in practice with the new 35T diff gear as well.

Runs as smooth as ever and not a single issue so far

NT1 gear set = 335030
Lightweight hard coated alu. pins = 335081

Now to mount the new aluminum shock caps

This buggy just keeps getting better and better

here is the part number amain and stormer carry them. AXI30462 just put that in the search on there and it should pull them up. you will want 3 packs so you can use the metal ring over the plastic to retain the driveshaft pins.

Can you post a picture of those? I've been wanting to see if they're any different from the plastic ones.

was there ever a problem with the stock? I am hesitant to put other manufacturers pins in there. Reason being, xray makes the pins softer than the swing shaft so its cheaper to keep it refreshed. The ring on the other hand seems like a good idea.
