Anyone recommend on fs-gt3c ? I heard its a low cost and a good tranmitter. Don't want to invest 500$ on futaba sanwa, spectrum...etc

Its a good radio and all but one of the main problems that ive heard is that the power button stops working after a while because the solder joints are strained by the turning of the wheel or something like that. Personally, I love a gt3b and ive had no issues. And for 20 dollars less than the gt3c is hard to beat.

The M12 just came out.
So it's a safe bet the Sanwa M11x will be dirt cheap soon. Most reliable radio ever.
Don't go cheap on radios. Unless you want to buy 3 of them.

GT3B is a cheapo radio that will 'work'.
Spend the money and get an entry level radio from Futaba or Airtronics and save yourself the hassle...

I use a 10+ year old Airtronics M8. Take care of your radio and it'll literally last forever. Buy a nice used M11 or F-3PK, add Spektrum (if not already done) and you're good to go.

Have a great car and controll it with a cheap POS radio, makes perfect sence to me
Don't be a tight arse, pony up for a decent radio and keep it forever, those cheap radios are fine for crawling or kids

This.
I had a FS for several months and it was ok but frustrating. Had to swap out the voltage regulator for real battery life ($10 plus about an hour). The firmware was a total joke- certain features didn't work and certain settings didn't hold between models. Yeah, you can fix that but it's time and money.
I blew it out and bought an Airtronics; once I did that I stopped thinking about my radio and that was worth quite a bit to me.
There are several good entry-level radios in the $100-$150 range; look here if you're on a budget, or buy a quality radio used and you'll not lose much money on it if you decide RC isn't for you.

Like others have said, get a quality radio.
Best entry level radio IMO, airtronics quality and it's $130 new.
