set up station for Short Course?
What setup stations are out there that will work with a 1/10th short course? I just picked up a durango and a truck this nice needs a good quality setup. I've never owned one but have heard good things about hudy.

Why do you say that?

There is so much slop in off road vehicles that a precise setup is not needed. Like was said, get it close on a flat surface, that's all you need.

Well with the way most wheels are made so cheaply they never seem to be very true. I've got a camber gauge and what not but it doesn't seem very acurate across the wheel/tire.
What about a proper sized setup wheel?

IF you really want one. Integy makes one, for off road vehicles. and depending on car, Need to get the adapters they sell also.
BUt sometimes nice to set camber and caster with wheels off, Since the rubber can move and give diffrent readings per diffrent tire. Adn the toe featre to set up is kinda helpful and easy.

1/10th scale is too sloppy.
I love using a setup station on quality 1/8th scale cars, but not so much with cheaper 1/8th scales.
And 1/8th is more sensitive to setup. My 1/10ths are sloppy toys in comparison. The only critical adjustment in 1/10th scale i think of is droop on the TLR 4x4SCT's.

I agree that on dirt and with slop in everything hard to get perfect. However , we do need a toe gauge of some sort, I just eyeball and can get pretty accurate.
I use to have Hudy setup station that I used for my offroad buggy, but once the wheels and tires are on everything just looked jacked up, so I sold my Hudy and just use TLR camber and ride hieght guage and a good set of eyes for toe.

you would actually be surprised how good you can get it with the set-up station, a camber gauge isn't accurate enough in my opinion
if you don't mind spending the money the hudy is the way to go
i bought one off of here and USPS lost it so i just bought an integy one and it works good just a little bit of a pain trying to figure out the right adapters
my car doesn't hit the track before hitting the station...
