Default plugging servo into reciever shuts off truck????

I just got a servo off of a member on here and i plugged it into my receiver to align the horn. It shut off the truck. Whats the issue?>

for better help we'll need to know a bit more about what you have, what servo, esc, receiver and truck would be a good start

Default bad servo

Did your old servo shut it down? If not, the servo's bad

Do you have a glitch capacitor added to the receiver?
