Default Castle Creations Field Link

I am interested in the castle creations field link but I am wondering if you can plug the throttle cable and the mini usb in at the same time and have access to the full array of tuning options available on your pc? Has anyone tried the field link? Can you do what I just described and would you recommend it?

A little confused on your post but... The field link does also have the capabilities to plug into the pc at the same time. I use one with my monster esc.

I saw that not all of the tuning options available on your computer are available on the field programmer.. just wondering if you could use the field programmer as an adapter instead of paying $20 for just the cable and adapter for the mamba pro..

Yes, the programming card also functions as the normal castle link.

The Field link is the way to go, works on my MMP, SV2, and SCT ESC's. I just updated mine. And yes, while it does not give you all the adjustments like the PC will, the critical ones like drag brakes, brake strength, punch control, motor timing (cheat mode) ect can be adjusted trackside without the PC.
