The bumps are managed by four fluid-filled, adjustable, coil-over shocks and aggressive, short-course racing tires mounted on KMC-style hex drive wheels. And it's all topped off with your choice of two custom digital-camo detailed bodies.

I'm guessing we'll see a Factory Team version of this in the not so distant future...?

Awesome!! AE just made it easier for newbies who still need to work on their skill set to get into a class that's notoriously over powered and crazy fast.

AE, you just gave me one more reason NOT to go back to 4x4 bus.

IMO

I'm in no way against newbies, the hobby needs them.....just not in 4x4 bus

hhhmmmm very interesting to see a shaft driven coming back from the woodworks from ae. maybe this can be a contender with the FT parts but we shall see if it's something worthwhile to be competitive with the rest of 4x4 sc's out there

FT version....not unless they plan to drop the 4x4SC10 as their flagship 4x4 bus.

2 FT vehicles for the same class, it's not in their history to do that.

It has a slipper, it's going to be no bueno. This class don't need no stinking slipper.

Entry level racer, only available rtr. Don't think we'll be trading paint with to many of them. FT version highly unlikely. I bet it wooops some slash ass though!!!

I didn't ask Sean when I saw him at IIC, but the AE way is to discontinue kits when they fall below a certain threshold of volume sales.

I think the SC10 4x4 is a goner.

Is this thing based on the TC4? Looks like a mirror image

Honestly, I could see this as a double edge sword. New participants do get to start in the hobby for a reduced cost. Inittially anyway...until they break the bank upgrading this kit to a FT kit and get discouraged that the sport costs so much money. I guess only time will tell if that happens. I was contemplating a SCT just because of their popularity, but if I see these on the track- I'm definitely out! SCT is already a smash-em-crash-em poundfest.

It does look like a pretty nice little basher to let the kids use in the yard and save their RACE TRUCKS for the track. If they price these right, I'd even consider a couple for my son and his friends to use so there's no "he's not sharing" crap.

Sadly i agree, It looks like they have given up on the belt drive. Id imagine they will see the demand for a shaft driven racer and produce a ft kit.

I honestly like this better than the sc104x4. it might be a slipper now but I bet there's going to be a center diff or a slipperential to be an option and this truck can be a good rig to run
