wow, didn't see this thing coming.
with associated getting more and more involved i the LOORS series, i think they need something more geared towards the basher side or R/C.
everytime i go to glen helen, there is someone dragging around a new SC10.

From what I can tell as I posted in the SC10 4x4 thread, looks like it borrows a lot from the Thunder Tiger SparrowHawk line or similar with some AE touches. Nothing wrong with that though, as personally I have found memories of my TT vehicles.

Looking at what they have there, Personally, if they made a FT version or some aftermarket company decided to run with it, I wouldn't be surprised if they made a center diff option for the vehicle.

As for if they will do one, if the sales of this vehicle and the demand is there, Ae would be foolish NOT to.

And if that happens, sadly, I think the SC10 4x4 may be done.

On the ball as far as what WC? I don't think there was a big complaint from SC10 4x4 owners that they didn't have an entry level shaft drive non-center diff equipped truck from AE to buy instead?

this truck is FAR from a "racing ride". don't think it's meant to be. i think this is a good move by AE. there is nothing wrong with catering to the biggest market out there (bashers).

i have doubts that this thing can be a competitive racing platform, so i'm not sure the SC10 4x4 is dead like everyone else seems to think.

I didn't buy the 1st 4wd because of the belt. 3500kv, 7cell pack, shaft drive, looks like a shot over traxxass slash. A little late to.the rtr entry party imo. But I do like it. A month sooner, my son may have had this and not his 4wd slash.

How you get to that bolded part from a vehicle stated by AE to be entry level boggles the mind ...

Make sure you remember to pat Thunder Tiger on the back here WC, very close looking to the Sparrow Hawk line with some AE touches ...

Very curious to see what the cost of this is versus a RTR SC10 4x4.

I'd say its gotta be $150 in order to sell the numbers to compete with the uber garbage redcats, armas, acmes and traxxas RTRs

not even close. it is brushless. it is 2.4ghz. i'd be surprised if it was any cheaper than $250. my bet is the street price will be about $325.

No way it will be $150 if it's a RTR. I'm betting more in the $300 to $350 range.
