I figured it out Racer....

The rear most Center bearing insert was flipped around the wrong way.

No harm no foul . Quick fix.

I am also going to second not going with that screw kit. I used that screw kit on another car and the best thing about the screw kit was the container they came in lol. If you want a better screw kit go with Tony Screwz or lunsford stuff.

+1. Got Tony's sitting in my box.

I'll never buy RC Screwz again. The heads break clear off and they strip just as easy as the kit screws.

those who had the .1 and now the .2

Notice any push with the car being +8?

I run the .1 with NO ballast weight, gives better rotation, IMO.

Pro's obviously win with it but for the rest of us?

Started my build last night and things were just not feeling right!i am used to 2wd trannies that spin very freely. Some guys at local track say a 4wd feels tighter but mine feels to tight. Should you use the set screws in all cvas?i had two that with the screws in they were binding others smoothe.
Directions don't show installing set screws but they come in the bag.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

My diffs feel. Good, I used the 6&3 spacers but main cvas still feel tight where it comes out of gear box..

diff/tranny will break in, tight now will be smooth after a pack or two.

Don't use the supplied set screw when building CVA's they're not needed. The retainer ring replaces them. A drop of CA to hold them (retainer ring) in place is also a good idea (IIRC it's recommended in the manual as well)

My problem is in the front,everything feels good till I snap the gear covers ,the the binding starts,not bad but tight,install screws and it becomes tighter,should I try and space it 5&3? I tried this first but there was about 1/16-1/8. " of play,is this ok or will I burn out gears?

If it feels too tight and like it's not exactly spinning free on the CVA coming out of the gearbox, check to be certain you cut off the flashing and smoothed out the back of the drive pinion gear as shown on page 5 step 2 of the manual.

People do not realize that stanless steel is not desireable for most applications. Softer than the black oxide steel screws that come with most cars. Stripped heads and bent screws are no fun. However your tools will last forever.
