i recently bought an epic 3000 mah ni-mh stick pack. I have a radioshack one hour quick charger. Can I charge it with the radio shack charger?

Radio shack makes a zillion types of chargers. Tell us what it is first. You should really buy a good charger..., novak, LRP, tekin ect.

it's a standard radio shack, one hour charger. cuz like it's not on the website anymore cuz itt's discontinued. But basically

it can charge ni-cd and ni-mh and it like a big charger, not like those plug in the wall chargers.

basically, my question is

does it matter than a battery is over 3000 mah? As long as the charger can handle ni-mh it's ok right?

I personally would not do it if I were you. I don't think it will be up to the task of properly charging those cells. As the previous poster said, look at Novak, LRP or the like for a good charger. Not to mention that stick pack probably has a Tamiya connector which will eventually melt down on you with a few charges in it. I would cut that plug off and solder on a Deans connector.

Bro, that won't happen... I'd recommend a duratrax charger.. not TOO expensive yet it's pretty good... since you wanted something not too expensive...

On Tower Hobbies, that's 54.99 It's called the Duratrax Intellipeak AC/DC Pulse Charger. It can charge that 3000mAh, and not ruin it... That's the cheapest AC/DC from Duratrax....
