Default Popular 1/8 electric buggy?

I have been out of the racing seen for a few years and have never ran 1/8 Electric buggy before?

Just curious as to which buggies are the most popular right now?

I was checking out the RC8.2e Factory Team.

At my local track, the RC8.2e is very popular. Throughout my state, the most common buggies I see are the RC8.2e, the 8ight 2.0E, and the Mugen ECO.

Ditto. I recently went from an 8ight to an RC8.2. The Losi is like a touring car, while the AE is more "Turn & Burn".

I haven't driven the others but I think you owe it to yourself to check out the Tekno EB48. I let a couple of the local sponsored drivers take mine for a test drive and they were both very impressed.

Mugen ECO is awesome. I built my short course from it. It comes race ready right out of the box just add your electronics and thats it. The new us version comes with the hop ups now. Very easy to drive.

They're all very good. But tops of my list would be the Eco us spec and rc8.2. Factoring in their prices, performance, support and "newness" of the kits.
