1/8 buggy style axles and 17mm hex for e-revo
 

i have seen a lot of revos develop slop in the center of the hex hub because the hex just sits on the threaded axle and was wondering if anyone makes a special set of axles without the threads on them or maybe a special set of 17mm hexes that solves this problem.

Edit- nevermind, didnt read the description. these still need the tekno carriers because of the larger size and different bearings.

There's an insert that threads onto the axle entirely, and the hex sits ontop of that, removing the slop. I actually just ordered a set. Integy is out, but I was able to pick up a set from Phil's Hobby Shop on eBay.

Not sure of the part number but the brushless e-maxx and e-revo have 17mm splined hub that is a direct drop in and like $20

winddrake, thanks to you as well. i had thought of a solution like this and was hoping someone had manufactured it. thanks for doing the foot work and slogging through integy's clunky website.
