Let us not forget that in his brief time with AE he also won a national championship in 2wd

Hoddap didn't change his scheme when he left Losi and his is very similar to Cavaleri, Dirt, etc... Many of them have very similar schemes.

Its brand association...if you see the water drop paint-job you're most likley going to think Losi b/c of cars like BK, Francis, and Cavaleri. Look at Pavidas and Easton, their schemes were pretty similar as well. I think the worst move he could make is change his paint job.

I think it's great!! there has been alot of good drivers leave Associated to go to Losi. Heck even the famous Brian Kinwald started at Asssociated. Maybe these guy's will help Associated make some better vehicles. I have to say that Losi has the upper hand with recent cars/trucks such as MF2 and the AD2. The only one that Associated has that is better to us is the B4. That may be because we have'nt raced our new BK2 yet!!

Help'em out Ryan,,, make me want to buy Associated again.

Even Gil Losi Jr started out with Associated:

2WD Off Road, Modified Class Champion, Gil Losi Jr, RC10

Maybe he'll come back some day........nahhh.

Ryan was fast with the new car yesterday, looked really smooth.

And just for those wondering, he was supplied with his same paint scheme

i read this on the AE website

Additionally, Ryan has made the switch to LRP and will use the Quantum Competition 2 speed control, Phaser receiver, and Pulsar 2 charger to deliver the necessary power to his motors and batteries. Congratulations Ryan, and welcome to the Team!
