Thumbs up New Indoor Off Road 1/10 Scale Track

I have been racing the last few months at a new RC 1/10 scale off road track in Oak Level Va and from what ROAR said it's the largest indoor off road track on the east cost. The track is pretty large with hard packed clay and it can be a challenge. Right now we are running any class we have enough drivers for but the main classes are 19T Buggy, 19T Truck, Four wheel drive MOD Buggy. The 19T Buggy class is running 6 minute runs and we are trying to up that a little. The lanes are 10 feet wide all the way around There is a small hobby shop there. The track is located in Oak Level Va on 220 about 12 Miles south of Rocky Mount. It's right on the side of 220 and easy to find. There is a sign on the side of the road. We have AMB timing, plenty of pit tables.I have to say that I have raced for year and this has got to be the best off road indoor track I have ever raced at. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would have to rate this a 9 1/2. You will not be disapointed. The number to the track is 276-629-9559 and the owner is Rhonda Riley. If you have any questions let them fly. I will be checking back.

No web site yet but it's in the works. No nitro, it's indoors.

Is there not enough ventilation for nitro? We run nitro indoors at a few tracks in the region. Just wish I could race gas on the a really big track like that.

It's in Oak Level VA. About 13 miles south of Rocky Mount Va. or about 12 miles north of Martinsville Va. Not sure how many miles from Roanoke Va. It's on US220. It a hugh building sitting right on the side of US220. Big sign next to the road that says Rhondaveozz indoor RC. The sign will soon change to RC World. This sumer they are finishing the out doors track. Will be both off road and a paved touring car track but for now we have the indoor off road 1/10 scale. Running 2wd 19T Buggy, 2wd 19T Truck. MOD 4wd buggy, also a novice class. 2wd 19T Buggy is currently running 6 min races. When Roar called the track they told the owner that as far as they knew this was the largest indoor off road track on the east coast.

Oh, track is open on Wednesdays for practice and racing is on Saturdays. Track opens at 12:00 on Saturdays and racing starts at 5:00. If you call ahead and let her know you are coming she will pretty much open for you anytime. The owner is pretty cool.
