Default associated rc10b4.1

I have a rc10b4.1 with the traxxas vxl system. The gearing is stock 21/81 and it is way to out of control what would be a better gearing setup

I would try maybe 69/35 that should smooth out the traxxas horsepower.

What you have to realize is that just because someone offers advice, it doesn't mean they know any more than you do.

The problem is the VXL system isn't really designed for a car like the B4. Did you notice that it was not very easy to install in your B4? I can't recall (big hint that someone knows what they are talking about is that if they don't know they will tell you) if the VXL system has a training mode like the XL5, but if it does that would be about the only thing that might calm of down enough to be drivable in a small 2wd buggy. Realistically you need a system designed for a 2wd buggy.

You could change the settings on your radio as well. Changing the limits will tune down the throttle could be a quick fix. If you are having trouble with too much speed too soon you could change the exponential (I think, I may be wrong) throttle values. That may be with certain esc's and radios though. Correct me if I'm wrong.
