So clearly you do not understand the process. I explained why it is that the tires are available from pro-line and not on amain. To assume means to suppose without proof. Like I stated the limited amount of tires are because of the way a product is brought to market. I also explained why amain hasn't put them on their site.

I guess its hard to sense sarcasm over the internet. R.Shackelford guy doesnt work for proline so what he says is just a educated guess. He has no idea what proline's exact product process is. The thread is about proline ion tires maybe it will get on subject and internet experts will chill out

This is where Pro-line is with the Ions.
Then you have amain. They are by far and away the largest hobby retailer dealing in the competition r/c market. For something like a new car coming out, they will do the work to get it on their site as soon as possible so that way people can start pre-ordering. It gives amain financial security in ordering a bunch of expensive new cars..

No, it is not where Pro-line is (or was). If they are in fact selling tires on their site then the product is done. They don't use paying customers as prototype testers.
Amain gets no financial support from pre-ordering, they do not charge customers money until they have product in stock to ship. It helps them to forecast but there is no guarantee that all customers will leave their orders in place, especially if the availability date is bumped back.
