At our track the Team Associated b4.1/ Worlds seems to be the flavor of choice. Very good proven design, economical, easy to build, and all around an excellent design. The TLR 22 seems to be the next most popular car. Its fairly affordable, parts are easy to get, and runs great. The Durango Dex210 is another great car. parts are fairly cheap and easy to find. Id try to get either a DEX210, B4.1/Worlds, or a 22 All are great designs and will perform excellent. it really comes down to what your LHS carries, and what is in your price range. Hope this helps you out a little.
