Got mine on Wednesday, very cool buggy and I can't wait to get it on the track. I pulled the transmission to check the diff for oil, it does have oil in it, 5k or 7k seemed kind of thick. The trans gears don't have any grease on them though.
The motor mount screws do have loctite on them, but the pinion didn't seem to have any. All said this is a nice buggy though, just wish it had sway bars.

Anyone try it out yet in wet conditions?
I am looking at this as a fun buggy to use in wet / snow conditions.
For that swaybar question, are there locations for sway bars?
I think I wish they had more positions for handling tuning on the towers, etc. Maybe if this became a class they would release the racing options.
Anyway, looking forward to some video on a track somewhere by an owner.

No spots for swaybars, the front shocks mount in one position on the tower but four spots on the arms, the rear mount in two spots on the arms. It has holes for droop screws in the arms, no screws but that's not a problem. The spur is plastic and beefy.
It comes with a aluminum steering servo horn too, 25 spline (futaba, savox, ace, etc.) The tranny is very similar to a Baja, but a lot easier to remove. Overall construction is top notch, good plastics.

After running at the track most of the day I had no broken parts. The rear suspension started to bind up pretty bad, it seems that the dogbones are about 2mm too long, they were causing the bind. I ground some off the ball ends and that freed up the suspension. The stock tires have minimal grip on a dry hard packed surface. Still this buggy is fun.

For those interested in a size comparison. Here it is with a couple of full-size 1/8 truggies.

I'll just throw a buggy body on my Truggy and call it a day In the end I wouldn't purchase this buggy. BUT this buggy is nice and well built and I'm liking what Kyosho has done with this. For me it's better to pop a buggy body on a Truggy and will still be around the same price as this buggy.
