is the motor mount holes different distance apart from the xb9 2012
im trying to find info on how to do mine, but everyone seemed to convert their xb9s pre 2013
xray original parts to convert the xb9 2013 to electric come at a cost of over $200USD and i have to get them shipped to australia...
asked xray and they pretty much refuse to make a conversion kit
they have all the parts in production already, all they have to do is bag them up and sell for a decent price. but no go there.
any help here would be apreciated
cheers guys

Ran mine yesterday and its really sweet.
Only problem is massive chassis flex, but thus can be overcome with carbon motor mount top plate and metal chassis brace I rekon.
So for people in Australia like me who find rc monster way too expensive cos of shipping
I used an Integy xb808 electric conversion kit $60
Only used the motor mount
Losi 8ight e 2.0 battery tray $20
I chopped the original receiver box
To those who say you have to cut it so much that it leaves the back end open, I say you cut too much, mine is fully intact and fits a treat
I also raised the center diff & motor mount by 2mm with some plastic strips I glued to the chassis, this also helped to cover a big exposed hole in the chassis, keeps the dust out
Lastly i raised the body mounts rather than buying an FTW body. I just used a serpent truggy rear body mount for the back & a random piece of plastic from a losi (I think fuel line stuff) for the front

I'm really happy with it, drives great, nice clean simple layout

After some digging, I think this is the car I own now! ! Any pointers on bodies? Currently have the K2RC conversion with a 5000 turnigy battery and none of my bodies line up well. Hoping to race at Mikes this weekend.

Looking at your car, I'm not sure what it is that you have, but I don't think it's a 9e. I have an XB9E and it has a different top plate, motor mount, battery tray and side pods/mud guards. However, it does appear to have the same arms and towers. I guess it could be a frankensteined conversion using parts from other brands, but I'm not sure. It doesn't look like an XB808 either.
