Kinda hard as they don't really make a hard core off road car at this time. They did make some attempt a few years back but now have really been working more on touring cars as they have two top notch touring cars in the Evolution 2 and the 414M2.

I'm going to cover them with some lexan plates and am going to use Top Force body on top if it. I don't see any other opening on the front or the rear or even the bottom of the chassis other than that motor hole..although i haven't figure out whether I will have clearance over the spur gear or not...I guess we'll just have to see about that. I'm also having a problem picking out the suspension arm...I think a 200mm RS4 conversion arms would do the trick thus they are strong and widely available. The rest of the project will have to wait until my brother is finish with his TA04S to see what's left that I can use to begin my project. =)

A guy on Ebay had a brand new in the box Tamiya Dyna Storm 2wd off road buggy. That was one Tamiya made to run against the other big name buggies. They are currently making this kit again in a rerelase from Tamiya. Very cool looking car.
You shouldn't have any problems with a belt on offroad as the Schumacher cars don't seem to have any problems running a belt. They have always been fast and most of todays tracks are pretty hard with not alot of debris like in the old days.

I might go with the supernitro ones just because they're the widest touring car arm available, but I doubt it will fit with TA04S. Then the next option would be the TGX arms.
The reason I want RS4 is because the MIP CVD is widely available and it's a drop in service for this cars.

Y not try using buggy arms, n c if they fit? maybe u just need to do a little hand fitting or some slight mods. Just a suggestion.

RS4 Rally arms will just make the car too narrow.
You could try making a hybrid car - perhaps the Schumacher Cat 3000 suspension and driveshafts will fit- It's what the Durango car uses.
Maybe you could find and old second hand Kyosho Lazer ZX - the general appearance of that car is quite similar to the TA-04.
Bear in mind though that you may then find that the car has a short wheelbase (~260mm), whereas the other competition buggies are closer to 275.
Nice little engineering project though.

Does that mean you don't own any onroad cars? I race Onroad, Offroad and Rally.
