Default traxxas 3500 vs Nosram 10.5

Hi,
I was just wondering what would be faster in a 2wd slash gear 14/54? a traxxas velenion or a nosram motor.. :http://www.nosram.com/en/products/el...-105t/details/
Thanks

The Traxxas motor is a wonky Tripole motor, and makes good power for what it is.

However, that Nosram 10.5 is going to smash it in torque, while having the same RPM.

if the nosram has more torque then it should be faster due to you could run a taller gear and it should run cooler.
at least thats the way I see it but i could be wrong

kv rating is inconclusive between manufacturers because they don't list the amount of timing used for testing. As it wattage because they don't list the voltage they tested at to come to this conclusion. Other than 17.5 turn motors, most two pole sensored motors are very close on the track when ran in blinkey mode. If you start running boost and turbo, the brand of motor starts to matter less and less.

run a revtech 17.5 maxzilla, 3300kv and if your racing they will always have a 17.5 class
