The 2200kv on 4s is meant for Truggys since it has more torque on a buggy i think it will be to much not speed wise torque wise.

The 2250kv is for a buggy ive never heard of any issues with the Tekin 1/8 scale motors from what ive heard there smoother power wise compared to the Castle 2250kv on 4s when using the Mamba Monster esc .

I dont like soldering tabs on the motors thats why i stick with the castle motor.

2200kv Castle motor is sensorless. This won't matter with the Mamba Max ESC. They both use a longer can, intended for truggies. That 2250kv in a buggy would be overkill. The comparable buggy motor (to the 2200kv castle) is actually the 2050kv Tekin. However, I'd recommend the 1900kv on 4S ultimately. It's a perfect motor and can be geared for any track.
