Has any on tried to use the touring car adapter to balance there off road tires with 12mm hexes? Just curious if it would work. Thanks ahead of time for any help you can give.

I've been using this balancer since the middle 80's to balance my 1/10 off road tires. :D

As long as the wheel fits, I don't see why not. They all work the same...

does not work!

I recently bought the hudy balancer with touring car adapter (12mm) hex. The threaded shaft was not long enough to be able to thread the nut that holds tire to balancer. This was with jconcepts mono 1/10 buggy wheels. Fortunatly I had this... http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXK247&P=ML. The blue nuts are coned shaped and you can get just enough thread on the shaft to work properly. You can also look up align blade balancer on a main, not positive but I believe those nuts would work also... hope this helps
