Did you order other things as well?

I placed two orders for the same batteries on consecutive days. The first order showed up yesterday and the second showed up 5 days after I ordered it.

The first order had a few things that came from china, which apparently took forever in customs.

I ran a regular nano, back to back with an a spec. Both are 5300 mah , both had about the same use. The regular nano came off the track at 7.55 volts, and the A spec came off at 8.2 volts. And both took around 1,200 mah after a 5min qualifier with a 22 buggy running an 8.5 . As far as feel goes.......... I couldn't tell the difference.

Did you put them in your cart from the US warehouse ? If they were in stock and you pulled them from the US warehouse they would have been shipped from the US warehouse .

The site does not automatically pull them from a warehouse based on your location .

I was just going to say this.

I ordered 3 and made the mistake of getting them from China thinking i was in the Us warehouse.

China took 2 1/2 weeks.

Made a order for 2 more from the US warehouse had them in 3 days.

+1

Thats why I always double check to see if it is in the US warehouse!
If you need it to ya quite a bit quicker, order from the US warehouse, that and their shipping is really competitive! I ordered 3 6600 nano's and they had 3 day shipping for $12! Oh yeah!

Oh yeah, They are usually really good shipping things out. It is customs that drags the process down, but what can ya do about that?

Well, they took almost exactly a month to get here and I got to run them last night. Wow are they great. The guy in the pit across for me was having puffing issues with his shorty so I loaned him one of my A-Specs. When returning to the pit he commented on how great his car was driving. When I asked about the battery, he said "I totally forgot that I was running it. That's what made the improvement." He's a much better driver than I, and I believe to be completely unbiased.

How are these A-Specs aging?

Trying to find some new shorty lipos, I have the normal Nano-Tech ones but noticed after a few months (used on average once a fortnight) their capacity drops dramatically and loose their punch very quick.

I was going to buy the Promatch ones but they do not ship outside the US.
SMC is possible though, but just seeing if the A-Specs are any better than the original Nano-Tech.

Also finding standard Nano techs tend to drop capacity and punch before too long... My two month old, maybe 20 cycle 6600mah only suck in 6000mah. My 6200mah only do about 5500mah at most. My older, maybe 50 cycle 5800mah 30c packs only suck in 4000mah.... Not impressed.

Note: The 6600mah packs only charged to 6600mah for the first couple of cycles, then started to drop off each charger after that.

On the other hand my gens ace 4s 5000mah packs take in a solid 4900mah~

Yeah, it's a shame really, mine went the same way, I thought it was me at first, charging them too fast (around 3c), while it wouldve had some impact but it seems they were destined for it anyway.
Postage to Aus for 4 shorty packs is US$30, only after 3 but still, it comes to about AU$190, havn't found (or looked at many) that will post to Aus.
Can get 3 A-specs for about $108 posted, but no point if they only last a couple of months.
