battery space.com

Does anyone know if batteryspace.com is a good place to buy r/c batteries?

I have bought some 6 cell 3000 packs in October and still use them today. If treated right they will last.

I also have 2400 AA in my TX and use there 5 cell flat pack in my buggy. They work great for me.

do those from batteryspace (3000) work for a b4? If so, how long do they last and are they sufficiently powerful?

J_Bone 03-04-2005 04:23 PM

I use them in my T4 so I would think they would work in a B4.

They have an ok peak voltage and seem to be real close to my buddies GP3300 pack. I'm not saying they are better, but are close enough for me. As far as how long they last, are you talking run time or overall ??
Run times, I get about 10-12 minutes with a 20amp discharge bulb. I'm not sure total duability, they seem to be running ok still and they are 2 months old with too many charges and discharges to count now.

what do you charge them with. I'm looking for a GOOD charger for a beginner. Do you think the ones on batteryspace are good? And what do you mean "treat them right"

I'm just a beginner so i know very little
thanks!!

I use a MRC 969, but for a beginner I would get this maybe Duratrax intell Peak .
The price good for what you get. Don't get the ones at batteryspace.com, those are junk.

For a charger, one thing that is nice and I look for is some sort of digital readout to tell me what is going on with my packs being charged.

If you decide to go with the higher end intellipeak stuff, look at the integy stuff as its the same but doesn't use that external power supply which has a tendency to get damaged on the duratrax stuff. A shame as the chargers themselves work well.

ya, I like the read out screens myself. I was thinking for a noob to get into charging I though that would be a good charger for the price. Shoot, it's probably better than mine even though it doesn't have the LCD readout.
