I have 2 losi mini 8ight cars. One car chews through the battery NiMH 7.2 1100 at about 50% quicker than the other car. Have swapped the batteries between the two cars, charged both batteries the exact same amount. both cars go about the same speed for the first 5 minutes then the problem car starts slowing down a lot.

Is it possible that the motor on the car is needing more power to run it than the other or is there some other factor im not thinking of?

Something in the drive line is probably bound up, could be a bearing or spur/pinion mesh.
