I know guys rave about their rc8be and how great it runs.

I have a losi 8ight 2.0e and its been nothing short of awesome thus far. No reliability or tuning issues and the number of parts available is good too. It's really personal preference between the 2.

I have the MBX6 Eco and love it. I am also interested in the EB48 but that hasnt even been released yet and is a few weeks away.

The HB VE8 is good since you dont have to invest as much. I would spend abit more and get a Mugen though.

Flip a coin all of them are good you listed. Its what you can afford and the parts support and what the racers run at your track.

+1. Only crap 1/8 buggy I've seen/had is a HSP (or whatever they go by in America). Have owned or seen pretty much every other 1/8 and they're all really durable. Some might handle a bit better then others but in the end, you aren't going to be disappointed.

ive heard the ve8 has some cv issues, one guy at the track always complained until he got teckno keepers for the cv. you may want to look into that, i know whatever he did fixed the problem that he was having and he now loves it again. i hope that helped

I have a D8 with an electric conversion and LOVE it. My first race with 1/8th scale was this past weekend and I was pretty competitive. The car is very predictable and just handles really well. If you get one make sure it has the truggy rear shock tower and longer shocks.

Just to clarify, it is NOT the truggy rear tower. It is a taller rear tower designed for the ve8/vorza/d8 to be used with the 112mm (truggy) shocks.

Ok guys narrowed it down to a rc8be or a h8 with the teckno conv kit .h8 has a sp esc and Orion 1750 kv motor Savox 1965 servo and 4 2 cell batteries included looks like you stack the batteries making it a 4 cell .the re8be ft has a castle esc and tekin 2050 motor with older 4 cell batteries and a bunch of spares but owner says rod ends need to be redone .both are about same price just not sure which one would be better for me .i race at a med sized outdoor carpet track
