I found these pictures of Naoto's car, on Red R/C, from the World's race.

I am going to guess that the chassis used in Japan has been used by Jared on the dirt based on the pictures below.

How are you liking the rz6 so far? I've been thinking about getting the conversion to try on turf or high bite clay.

Actually this weekend was a huge improvement. I lightened up the rear shock oil and moved the esc to behind the motor (super clean). It was very smooth and easy to drive. I would like to try the ball diff and some pink or white rear springs. They are currently gold.

are the hubs all the way forward in the arms? I'm about to pull the trigger on the RZ6 and your layout was the same layout I started with on my ZX6. I remember how much traction I had but didn't steer worth a darn. That was the ZX6 though.

Interesting. I have plenty of steering with my ZX6 setup this way. I'll check my hubs tonight. If they are not all the way forward, they will be. This chassis is way longer than the RB6.

Picking up an RB6 tonight. What are my options for laydown trans for carpet racing besides the RZ6 conversion? Not really looking to put that much more into it right away.

If you believe the rumors they have a new car coming anytime, (i have heard May) that will either have or have a option of a laydown transmission.

Any idea if the parts will be compatible with the RB6?

It's a kyosho.... Most of the new parts should fit the old car if it's not just a conversion/update kit.

Just drove my newly built RB6 for the first time.

Kyosho RB6
Orion R10 Pro
Trinity D4 6.5T 50° timming
Trakpower 100C 2S saddle
23T pinion.

I was breaking the ball diff in real good on pavement going in circles slowly.

Then I started getting on it. Maybe I need to back the slipper down..

It literally wheelies while spinning the back tires across the parking lot. Lol.

What a blast, Trinity D4 is sick power. My Trinity 24K 6.5T will be here Thursday from Amainhobbies.

And I got a deal on a bunch of Schumacher pin tires.

All I can say is, I'm coming from 1/8 to get in to 2WD MOD/ stock racing. And the smoothness is on another level. Power delivery is like tearing through silk. If that makes sense lol.I turned a brand new set of $6.00 bar codes in to slicks in 5 minutes. I could not help my self.

Will be hitting the track this weekend.

Temps were coming off at 120f motor/ 110f esc
