Where did you get the copper sheet? Been looking for something like that.
What shorty pack is this that's that light?

A couple of us are doing this at my track. The difference is ridiculous way more stable exiting turns, the rear end doesn't want to step out on you. The car just simply drives better every where. We haven't gone quite that narrow yet but it was definitely in the works in the next couple of weeks. We also used a B5m as our base for measuring. We were trying to keep it on the DL but some guy from San Diego just put the idea on blast. hahaha

A bunch

http://www.amain.com/ProTek-R-C-2S-S...200mAh/p271097
http://www.promatchracing.com/prodde...prod=2S350090C

and trinity and smc also have some. Weight is around 150 grams. But it looses punch mid way cos of the voltage drop (we got a big 1/8 track for 17.5 stock), I might put that in for the winter back in where the size is a bit less.

Zachy Poos :P

I'm going to test both holes tomorrow along with the most inner on the tower. Hoping for good results.

Did you have to change your dampening at all?

Could this be applied to rear motor cars as well?

Zack and my son are running 1.6x2 30w gold springs
28mm of shock shaft showing
I'm running 1.4x3 tapered 30w white springs
28mm of shock shaft showing

Both seem to be working really good.

Not real sure if Zack kept the same set up when he switched from MM to RM on Saturday. You could always find some one with RM B5 and measure the width between the top shock mounts and the width between the bottom shock mounts and drill holes accordingly.

What type of track?

So far it's been used on a low/med bite track and at OCRC. Low/med bite track showed some good results, OCRC was ridiculous. My son went from fish tailing the straight to the rear end basically centering itself when he grabbed a handful of throttle. I drilled my sons holes kind of narrow, 17.5mm out from the sway bar mounting holes.

I run on a low traction track. This does sound very interesting

Yup. When I used the drill press on Saturday I noticed a nice difference. I was also on 1.6x2 and 30 with golds. My buddy also ran the arms in his main so we could get more feed back and really liked the new hole.

Have you tried the new hole plus inside on the tower?

I'm also D-in on both.

Nice mod. Please keep us updated. Anyone thinking of making the inner pivot narrower as well? I got a exotek MM narrow pair which I use not sure if its narrower than the d in setup.

I'm working with Kevin on the narrower rear blocks. Should have designs done shortly. We'll do a small run initially to test then get into production depending on demand. To give you an idea, the blocks will be designed to use the existing RB6 rear pills and when using A/A with the new blocks it will be about 2mm narrower than Din/Din.
