Does it matter if the car is rear motor or mid motor when it comes to the piston selection and oil weight?

yeah. with the weight in a different part of the car you need different suspension settings (springs as well) to get the car to drive like you would want in each setting.

I use four individual 0.1g scales to do my front/rear left/right measurements. I guess if you are using only one scale you would need to at least place something the same height as the scale under the front wheels. Are both rear wheels able to get onto the scale?

Went to 1.5 front 1.6 rear piston with 30/25 losi oil. I liked that pretty good, it allowed the car to be a little more precise.

Can someone explain to me why we use different size shock ends. I know it has something to do with droop. Example if I want 27mm in the rear and could achieve this with md or lg ends which should I choose?

If you can get 27mm between the bottom of the shock and top of the shock end for both med. and long shock ends, the over all shock length will be a little different. Which would mean that the droop would be different between the two, even though you have 27mm set on either configuration.

It's mostly about the droop, but also the overall shock length.

The difference is drive plunge. The taller the shock end the less CVD plunge on compression which frees up the car.

Can someone tell me the overall length of the medium shock end?
Got my car used and only found 2 sizes, not sure what is what.

Has anyone tried the brass bulkhead from ghea?

Have you guys tried using spacers to get rid of the extra droop say for sugar tracks? The excessive droop causes too much roll, I do love the longer ends on rear though.

Are u guys using this thread for both mm and rm discussions?

My shock set up right now for rm is front 30w 1.3x4 pink spring 20.5 length with med end. Rear 25w 1.3x4 red rear spring 28 length with long end.
