If I wanted a setting in between running flat arms and gull wing arms.
Would running flat arms with medium length shock eyelets be a solution? In other words, would creating more droop with the flat arms create a middle ground between flat and gull wing?
I'm curious for either MM or RM configurations.
Thanks.

Whether that is the case or not, wouldn't I be adding more droop by using the medium eyelets with the flat arms? In theory creating a middle ground between the two rear arm configurations.

Honestly, I don't understand why anyone runs the gull wing arms. I liked them way better even in low traction conditions because it just made the car feel right. It felt really lazy in the rear with the gull wing arms.

MM SETUP FOR LOW TO MEDIUM TRACTION WET TRACK
Here what's I have been running at my local track... You can't use setup on a track that have traction with MM buggy more than likely you are not gonna have forward bite when you run the same setup on a track that have low traction. I have been running MM since the losi 22 came out and learn a lot how to properly setup a MM buggy.. I got the base setup posted at petit rc for kyosho RB6..

For those of you that have tried this setup, what rear springs are you using? I dont see that avid makes a purple rear spring? Just a front purple 3.61 rate. My guess is that the setup sheet shows the springs between front and rear reversed. So white rear, purple front....Looking at the pistons and oils listed, that has to be the case

Seems that the Tebo setups are the best to start from:

If you don't have Rb5 UM521 arms, the rest of the setup applies, but you need to run a longer shock end on the rear, and thicker rear shock oil.

Kevin was asking about the knuckle spacer in relation to caster: found this http://www.petitrc.com/setup/kyosho/...dAckermanMath/

I ran the gulls last night again in my MM car. The car is SO soft with them on there. I run 2x1.6, White spring, Losi 27.5wt with a car that is 1560 and I was nose jumping like crazy. I went back to the flat arms and the car felt way better, especially jumping. I dont know if you need even weight or just at least 30wt in the rear, but I normally run 25/27.5 and 30 or 32.5 front. It was stupid how bad it made my car.

RB6 Setup
Hey fellas, I just wanted to post a setup on 2wdMod.com that was ran by Kyosho/ Team Orion driver, Andy Dibrino. His car was absolutely dialed all weekend. Give it a try and see if you like it. Of course...get the right tires on and adjust ballstud height accordingly.
