I switched from 4.2 to RB6 and I love it. But make no mistake, you aren't going to switch from one to the other and get miraculously faster. I personally am quicker with the RB6, but I don't know how much of that can be attributed to the car or the track just getting better. I'm sure a bit of both.
anyway the build and quality are not even comparable. You can't really understand it until you have experienced it. RB6 just wins hands down.
Performance on the track: anything that my 4.2 did, the RB6 did better. It's incredibly stable, while maintaining that aggressive feel. I've tried several setups and each worked well. I can't say for certain which setup is the fastest yet, but again, I have less than 30 packs through the car.
That brings me to my question for the others. I noticed on most setup sheets, the anti-squat is left blank. does this mean you guys are all running with no shims under both the front and rear hangers? I tried adding a 1mm shim under the front hanger but didn't get a real chance to see how I liked it as I broke after a few laps.

Thats one of the worst designs actually for me. I have broken a total of 4 xray wing mounts (the part behind the screw threads), the tabs stick out too much at the rear, theres no flex at all and the lexan wings too stifff as well. So basically the wing wins over the mount always. I personally found the older schumacher mount with the orings a really good one. Never broke a wing as well as a mount but it was a bit tricky to replace wings. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oad-Wing-Mount

I did have a shim under the RF hanger. I believe a 0.5 = 1 degree antisquat. I used to run in the rb5 with that for more steering on power. In the 6 I never felt a need. I did run it with the 6 chassis once but did not like it for outdoors (indoors it was a bit better). I prefer the stock setup better, and use droop instead now to control the amount of weight transfer front and back.
