I don't touch carpet. One track has wood jumps, but is proper clay with grip. The other track is a mix of clay and top soil and is fairly low grip. Also the same guys who run those aforementioned 8th scales and 4wd SCT's all run there all winter so it gets beat up LOL

Anyone think it's a dumb idea to run 16AWG for a 17.5 blinky?

It's probably because your track is smooth, not because it wasn't dusty. Bumps/ruts/ridges running parallel to the direction will cause this sort of inconsistency.

i convert my plastic wing mounts to screws.. way better imo.. i hate floppy wings and body clips

I don't own an aluminum wing mount for any of my cars, but was considering picking one up. I was thinking it might be possible to grind down the body clip post and tapping the aluminum to drive a screw in. Since I don't own one of these mounts I'm not sure if there's enough material to do this though.

I'm looking for a mid motor rb6 for sale. Carpet track is opening up near my house. Pm me if anyone is interested in selling. I checked the FS forum but everything was sold or out of my price range. Thanks.

Anyone remember when we used to run the 'Fat Johnny' 10awg wire

That stuff was HUGE
