Is possible for someone who is at the Reedy Race to ask the team drivers why they went back to a full size servo...is it because they now use shorties?

I am running Sanwa SRG-BLS since I updated to the RB6 with no issues...my questions is because the new car is a little front heavy in the air, I thought that with the full size servo the added weight will only make it to dive more
Maybe I have to try and see for myself...

I was told the opposite. I believe they free up the rear and allow it to rotate better.

Sorry if this has already been asked but is there a better shock tool for rb6 like alum i keep stripping the plastic ones thanks

I have one of EPER's tools, works great, and is good quality.
Now on to my question, I put on the avid slipper setup and it rubs the gear cover bad. I tried heating the cover and pushing it out but there isn't enough material. Any solutions? Optional gear covers?

I run the Avid slipper with no issues.. double checked just now for marks on the inside of the gear cover and there isn't a scratch. Did you assemble it properly? There's a spacer you leave out when you use it on a Kyosho, but use on the B4.1.. I did notice my Avid spur and Robinson aluminum pinion starting to make noise.. so i have a new spur here soaking in a cup of water overnight before i install(recommendation from Avid to make the gear quieter). We'll see how well that works.

Hey t8rtot,
My base setup is based on the Japan Team sheet since I mainly running on dirt...I use saddles for the same reason...first time out with the RB6 the car was slightly nose diving in jumps...that't why I thought team drivers used the low profile servo so I never tested a normal size one!
On the Avid I have to also report that I used it too and there are no issues with the gear cover...

I would dbl check ride height and rebound, I ran that for a few weeks and it was balanced for me with a full sized servo in front. I used a shorty lipo however. Mmm
K ok it's possible I have it spaced too far out, which spacer isn't to be included?
Thanks in advance

Hope there weren't any doubters of HARA. It doesn't matter the class, he's a man amongst children. He's the reason my first rc was an HPI. You don't win WC in different classes and be on the podium for the last three 1/8th buggy worlds on accident.
As soon as I saw that rb6 in his livery I got chills. Looks like he's on to something with that MM.
Can't wait to see that setup.
