IP Lipo's are becoming harder to source locally in recent years. I have used them in the past and they were pretty damn good!. I attached a couple pics of them for reference and used the Google machine to find them still available at Tower Hobbies and/or RC Mart (Hong Kong freight is pricey!). I believe most of them are ROAR approved, be sure to double check if you need that sticker where you race... They still manufacture them in full size & shorty

I had 5 IPs that I bought at one time, every one of them puffed to unuseable within a year. My new cheapos have been through 4x4 sct, mod sct, and mod buggy without an issue. I just can't justify spending more after that bad experience.

Before I switched to Fantom products, all I ran were Ip lipos... never had a single issue and they out performed every other pack I have tried until the Fantoms.

That's why I buy from Promatch. I can return them full price minus shipping of course within 30 days if I do not like them. Who does that these days!! Certainly not hobbyking (hobbypartz do but with replacement not refund).

And the quality is way above those two and so is the internal resistance, punch throughout the discharge curve. In short best battery I have owned thus far.

I don't even know how you figured that the position of the transponder decreases lap times

IP makes very good quality lipos and cannot be beat for the price!!! I would encourage waiting just a tad bit longer for Speedtech to get their new shorty lipo! I got a test pack 4000mah 65c and it runs great in my buggy and F1. they will be priced at about 50 bucks as well....slamming deal!
