Thanks so much for the great feed back!

This is exactly what I was looking for to help with my decision. I was starting to price out the cost of the Associated B6 and it was getting ridiculous. Although the Kyosho is priced higher, by the time you by the optional Associated Kashima shock bodies and the ball diff which the B6 doesn't come with, the cost is a lot more than the RB6.6 which already comes with the nicer shocks and ball diff.

Just to be clear. Did you run the 3 gear laydown Associated or Kyosho?

A number of us ran them last weekend's Masters Of Dirt RC Championships @ Beach RC. They're excellent, wear is good, and lots of forward bite. They are very smooth and predictable through the corners.

Do you guys find the the laydown 4 gear to be loud in the transmission? I can't seem to find what is causing it but it's certainly not Kyosho quite.

Mine is crazy quiet but I run a few dabs of white lithium grease on the teeth.

I use the green bottle of white lightening to keep things quiet.

Haha! My son and I have been running ours for a couple weeks. Very similar to the RB6 as far as the build so post up any questions you have. Especially when you get to the rear anti-squat shims.
Watch Tebo's youtube video on how to build the shocks and set the diff and slipper.

Looking to build a standup 3 gear dirt rb6. Already have the 6.6 and love it. Does a 6.6 make any difference if you're running a standup 3 gear or will the 15 rb6 perform as well as a stand up ?

Will it be stock or mod? The answer to that question dictates my response. Mainly because of weight.
