Can you tell me the difference?

Thanks everyone!
The one listed for $399 is the latest kit / part number. The one for $449 is the original listing and part number.

Go with the $399 car.

Oh OK, so there's nothing better on the more expensive kit though right?

Oh wow! So, the TRF211XM is out of stock. And If I just decided on a RB6, now there's a new car coming out ; the RZ6

How long does it usually take for them to release a new kit? I want it now!

I've gotta say, I'm impressed with Kyosho, and Tamiya! The simple fact that they will offer the NEW Kyosho RZ6 in a KIT. And also, a conversion for your already owned Kyosho RB6.

It seems Tamiya does the same thing!

Anyways, RZ6 looks amazing. Should be able to lock the slipper a little tighter. And motor down some, and punch the power on a straigyt, without going nose up on us.

Nice kit.

I seen that too last week it can't be right . If thats the case if I run any turf this summer looks like I'll be switching brands again . Isn't it already available in Europe . I seen one for sale on Ebay Europe for $399.

Just ordered my Kyosho
RB6. I got it for $362.00..

THANKS TOWERHOBBIES!

I couldn't make my mind up. I thought a ZX-6, D413, SC6, RB6. I was literally all over the place.

With 1/10 2WD being more popular, I knew the RB6 is just the best 2WD buggy around. And, it's a mid or rear motor setup.

Hope I made the right choice. I'm going to run indoor carpet, and indoor dirt. And with the RZ6 conversion coming soon that makes for a exciting kit! Front motor, RWD that is cool

I assume I should run the MIP PUK cvd drives. And carbon towers?

Maybe a 6.5T MOD motor.
I want some speed, the indoor track has a good 130ft straight.

I am very unfamiliar with 1/10 2WD.

I've been running 4WD SCT and 1/8 E-buggy.

Skip the pucks if running mod.

Definitely agree to skip the pucks in mod.

If you're planning on running carpet or turf, go with a gear diff. There is also an aluminum side cap that is sold as an option that is a very good idea. The plastic side screw holes tend to split.

Diff

Side cap

Also, you'll want heavier springs (orange and yellow colors) and the car is really good on carpet and turf with Schumacher yellow mini pins or blocks in back and stagger ribs up front. I prefer my car with the three gear transmission setup as well.

Skip the pucks. You can't get replacement axles if you break one. Discontinued.

Sad too because I love the pucks setup. They last forever.

I will skip the puks guys. I got the $25.00 shipping. I am very impatient when it comes to my RC cars. I will have it tomorrow morning.

This is my first Kyosho kit car. And I ordered the 2015 RB6, There are (2) of them on tower hobbies. It is confusing considering the newer one is cheaper.

I was thinking about a Tekin Gen3 36mm can. Is 5.5T to much?

Yeah 5.5t is to much for a 2w. 8.5 is perfect imo. 7.5 if you have very good throttle control.

Totally agree.
10.5 if you've never ran mod buggy before.
On a tight small tenth scale track I'm faster with a 17.5 but I'm still a newb. It's just WAY easier to drive and stay on line.

Yep I've never run 2wd MOD buggy. Does my kit include the carbon composite A- arms? And shock towers?

Are they better?

No. Carbon arms and stuff are lighter but also more brittle and easier to break.
