alittle RB6 porn.

new to me used RB6. mostly stock:
-ball diff
-30wt, pink springs fr / 25wt, red springs rr
-savox, spektrum rcvr, speed passion reventon pro, SP 3.0 MM 10.5T motor
-76/25 gearing
-shorty lipo with direct bullets

gearing seems alittle high. will try 22 or 23 pinion at my local indoor track if the temps get too hot.

Check the first post. And you definitely won't be disappointed.

When installing the 521-1 arm I'm noticing no one mentions where to put the 2mm shim for the position? Am I missing something?
Edit add moment
Am I using the steel bushings or the law32 ones on the new holders with the inserts

I put my RB5 front axles in with the hexes tonight so now its testing time for the different wheels.
I must say I do like the RB5 axles over shimming the RB6 axles but hey no doubt really no difference I just like the look

They are wider and there is no room for the shim, one of the small advantages of the rb6 arms is more wheelbase adjustment.

Any one do anything to their gear covers to protect better? My home track can get pretty dusty and when I had my rb5 and now my rb6 I'm getting my gears all gunked up regularly. I always make sure my gear cover is newer and in good condition but it still happens. Wish it had a third screw spot on the bottom.

Was thinking maybe a thin layer of silicone adhesive to the edge of the cover to make a better seal?
Any thoughts or ideas?

I had the same problem. I put a thin line of double sided tape on the inside of the gear cover and kept the top protective plastic sheet on the exposed part of the tape. Works well. We have a clay track with some very small particles of sand that get in and ruin a spur occasionally. A third(lower) screw would be a great addition.....

What about the bushings, do I use the plastic or steel ones with the new suspension holders with the fittings?
