Thanks to all of you for the answers - I made enough clearance for the steering with removing some material from the upper plate

sorry I would have other question joing to the previous post - which pinion to start?

On Saturday my daughter will run the RB6 in stock class (13,5) race and we will have no time to try anything before as I will be just ready. The track is high grip carpet and very techical with several jumps. The biggest pinion I have is 26. I have experience with ZX5 where tipically 19-21 OK. Should we start here with higher touth numbers?
Thanks for your help.
(The pressure is big on me from may daughter to have tecnhically OK buggy .)

This is a known issue and Kyosho have since updated their download PDF manual showing you need to cut off those areas. Cheers,

The last kit I built that area was already changed to clear the steering.

There was a note added in the box about cutting it. Maybe new stock verses old stock.

The RB6 fired up finally. Is it normal to have free play (free movement) at spur axle? In axial direction about 0.8mm in radial direction around 0,1-02mm.
Thanks

Do you still use the spacer in between the bearings in the new hubs? I notice with the spacer in it seems a little to fat.. The bearings will not seat fully but its close.

You want a little play other wise the bearings might get crushed when you tighten the wheel down

For boosted 17.5 I run 28\76 on a decently high traction outdoor track. With that gearing I run max boost with a lot of end bell timing as well, and my car is ballistic fast.

For blinky I run 28-34 with the avid slipper and 69 spur.
