  • Hey guys,

I have a question in case of springs.

Which springs would you suggest for racing on outdoor astroturf (europe)?

I canīt tell because I couldn`t test it so far, but i have been told by a few persons, that the standart kit springs are the worst choice for Turf.

comments? which Colors would you suggest? thanks for any Information
  • I agree, I've been running mine since April on a abrasive sugar track with no chassis protector.

I ran my buggy all summer on an out door carpet track. It was fairly high grip and everyone stiffened up their cars. I ran yellow fronts with red rear springs. You have to go up in oil weight as well or the car gets really bouncy. I ran 3hole 1.3 all around with 37.5wt front and 32.5wt rear. It was a good setup when it was hot outside.

Orange Front and Red rear for high grip (Silverstone, Stotfold, Torch, Cov, Herts)
4x1.3 pistons front and back, with 40wt front and 30wt rear.
  • Don't be afraid to run soft springs in the front.
Normally it makes the inner rear to lift on high traction tracks. I drove on carpet indoor today with pink (the softest) on the front and gold back. It worked very good.
I looked at Tebos setup from the Worlds, was skeptical, but turned out to be fine.

I run losi pink or yellow rear /losi green or xgear gold front 25/27.5r 30/32.5 f 4Ũ1.3 ghea pistons fs rear arms with third inner hole
  • Quote: I'm glad I read this. just switched to mid motor but i was worried about getting the weight to transition rearward quickly. 2 mm spacer? what are the negative effects?
Gives you more rear traction... But I would suggest don't go more than 2mm shims. With RB6 I would start with 0.5 shims under the RF hangers. Adding pro-squat gives you more forward bite on low to medium bite track... But if your track is really high bite I would not suggest using pro-squat...
  • Managed to break an axle today, just downsided a jump and snap.

Also looking for UMW705 for my RT5 but seems everywhere is out of stock.
Anyone know anywhere I could get one?
Or when they are due to be back in stock?
  • Same here, Iīve been running pink front gold rear all year no matter what Surface, I had White in front on carpet Indoor last season.

Hans did you run schumi tyres Indoor or vbc ?

  • Late October
  • Hey guys,
Hoping to get some help in deciding on a 1/10 scale. I have an mp9e and an electric st-rr that I drive mostly. I want a 1/10 scale for indoor ONLY. Right now I have a b44, but I want to switch over to K car in 1/10.

So my question is, should I get a rb6 or zx5? I'm not concerned with which class is more competitive or anything. Basically, would I be able to get comfortable with 2wd since I'm mostly a 4wd driver? What would you recommend?
