These cars hold their value. I recently bought 2 rb6's off RCT and they were in the same range. They were in very good shape but still more spendy than the AE stuff on here.

Hahah don't recall that name. I have had one 10ga install on the xray 808 chassis. Never again, the solderings too tough to do.

6.7g vs 7.8g for the exotek front sanded/glued

So not really worth it
I like the bling, also I was at 1600 before and every gram counts

rebuild: 1556g.
I think thats probably fine...

Any idea why Kyosho didn't mark the rear hangers?

Also was wondering why (2) RF2 hangers were included.

Now that AE is re-releasing the RC10, when is Kyosho going to re-release the original Ultima?

[QUOTE=silvalis;12208711]Anyone think it's a dumb idea to run 16AWG for a 17.5 blinky?[/QUO

I experimented with 16G wire in my TC 17.5 blinky. I noticed no drop in performance at all

Default Wing mounts

The XB4 knows how wings should mount.

as one is not meant to be used as it will break. Use the one with the beefy sides

Just sold my B4.1 and was going to pick up a B4.2 kit to build for the fall. I was thinking of maybe giving the RB6 a shot. Any body make the jump and how do the two cars compare? Thanks

I haven't been able to run indoors for a few weeks, but I threw the mid motor car on the track with only 1/2 a pack of practice and it was still good. I made a few more small changes because I actually needed more steering still. I still want to try rear motor again since I'm not sold that MM is necessarily faster, but I did manage hotlap for 17.5 for the night, was traction rolling a lot in the main though and couldn't battle for the lead.

I switched from 4.2 to RB6 and I love it. But make no mistake, you aren't going to switch from one to the other and get miraculously faster. I personally am quicker with the RB6, but I don't know how much of that can be attributed to the car or the track just getting better. I'm sure a bit of both.

anyway the build and quality are not even comparable. You can't really understand it until you have experienced it. RB6 just wins hands down.

Performance on the track: anything that my 4.2 did, the RB6 did better. It's incredibly stable, while maintaining that aggressive feel. I've tried several setups and each worked well. I can't say for certain which setup is the fastest yet, but again, I have less than 30 packs through the car.

That brings me to my question for the others. I noticed on most setup sheets, the anti-squat is left blank. does this mean you guys are all running with no shims under both the front and rear hangers? I tried adding a 1mm shim under the front hanger but didn't get a real chance to see how I liked it as I broke after a few laps.
