Well as long as we're listing electronics.... LRP Flow Works and Reedy Sonic Mach 2 8.5 (wow, that's a long name). Currently 78/22 but plan on trying out 78/21 this weekend since it's a smaller tighter track.

Just picked up an RB6. Definitely looking forward to trying this kit out.

I wasn't too happy with the Durango DEX210. Poor build quality and it didn't got well together like my DEX408.

I was one of the early guys running the 210... nothing felt better than going back to Kyosho. The RB6 delivers on all accounts.

Not exactly an Rb6 question but ill post it here. Has anyone run a boosted 17.5 setup with the Orion Esc in an Rb6? I need gearing as well as motor timing and Esc settings if possible or at least something to get me started and close without blowing anything up. Thanks in advance!

I normally drop 2-3 teeth and put in about 20% timing anf 1/2 that in turbo. no motor timing.then increase the esc timing based on temps. I started out a 28/76

So I'm picking up some spares for my Rb6 before it gets here.

It looks like I may be getting the exotek rear bulkhead and steering rack/crank.

Is the front bulkhead a necessary upgrade or are you guys running the plastic one? I know for the B4.2 the AE drivers used the plastic one for more flex but not sure if this applies with the rb6.

Anything else I should pick up?

Really all you need is the aluminum steering rack. Most of the other alum. Upgrades really just give you a piece of mind that the part will not break. For spares you should only really need the typical spares, I.e. arms, towers... Etc. The rb6 is truly a tank when it comes to durability. IMO As for the alum. Front Bulkhead I don't see a need in it, to be honest drive it and decide from there.

I bought and raced with both the Exotek & Kyosho aluminum steering racks... The Kyosho setup has no "slop" and the Exotek rack needs a bit more attention with shimming. The K rack tolerances are just better, so if you have the budget to buy it, I would recommend it. Also, the newer RB6 kits should have the revised aluminum front hinge pin brace in the kit already.
