AFAIK you cant affect the rear toe with shims, only new hubs.

Toe, if you add shims to the rear, you take away Anti Squat. If you add it to the front of the pivot you add. .5mm shim = 1 degree adjustment.

Inserts are just for caster, more caster = less steering. The inside and outside options adjust the track width of the car, which can make it react faster or slower depending on your shock setup.

The other shims on the ballstuds affect roll.

Which shorty are you running?
Had my RB6 at WCRC Tuesday and it felt really good except it seemed heavy on the jumps.

it would be easier to tell us whats in the car and what you are trying to achieve. also i always say the bast way to understand what a change does is spend the time making 1 change at a time and feeling it for yourself

I haven't built the car yet. I was going through the manual beforehand and noticed the possible shims/inserts.

For starters lets say I wanted 20deg caster, 1.5 anti-squat, 2.5deg rear toe, what would I do?

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know, I broke my steering rack and installed the aluminum exotek and after pretty severe crash I broke the stock steering cranks. Replaced them with the exotek aluminum and steering is much more precise due to no flex.

I highly recommend both exotek steering rack and cranks, best upgrade so far.

the next part to break would be the steering knuckles or the servo it's self .

Favor to ask!

Anybody with a grams scale that is running exotec products on their 6. Possible to weigh them against the stock pieces?

Aluminum steering rack pieces and plastic steering rack pieces?
Carbon Fiber the front shock tower and plastic front shock tower?

Nah.. next thing would probably be the servo horn stripping around the servo.

If you have a decent servo that shouldn't happen.
