They are a couple of Nimh's from my Savage I was just gonna run until I could get a good battery. The car has EC3 connectors on it. Should I just get a LiPo? Do I need anything else for that? Any suggestions what to get if I should just get a new battery.

I'm a little wary of doing any connecting change overs but a buddy is an electrician so if I need any rewiring done he's the man to help me.

I would convert your savage and your nimh to ec3, its a good connector. or the x60's. The Tamiya are crap and they like to melt. The losi has the ec3, I would just put ec3 on everything. google videos on how to solder them up.

Should I just bite the bullet and get a LiPo? Do I need anything extra for it?

Luckily I had the fore thought to purchase a charger with LiPo capabilities. someone mentioned that I needed to do something extra to use the LiPo's in the XXX-SCT at the shop, but it looks like that's not the case, and I can just switch between Nimh and LiPo from what I understand.

Thanks for the help!
