I rented an rv stall for a big race next weekend and it has 30a and 50a power for rvs.

My pit trailer isn't wired up with a breaker panel, etc yet so I'm running off of a regular extension cord.

I ordered this from harbor freight....

This is what I need to plug my ext cord into the 30a plug right? I'm not going to fry anything? Anyone care to explain to me what exactly goes on here? I know NOTHING about 1:1 electricity and quite frankly, hate it.

All the adapter does is let you plug your standard 15amp cord into the 30amp outlet.
Remember, your equipment only draws what it needs, so it's not like you're forcing 30amps down the wire if all you have plugged in is a 75w light bulb. You should be fine.
