Default What buggy is the best ?

I want to get an electric buggy but I'm not sure what to get. Should I get the team losi 22 , associated b4, mini 8ight, or the associated b44?

I am over these threads. You aren't even comparing even things.

Do you want a mini RC or 1/10? 2WD or 4WD? What's it for?

Pick a scale. Pick if you want 2wd or 4wd. Then choose if you want a buggy, sct, truggy, etc. From there it's a crap shoot. The "best" car is the one that is tuned the best and is being driven by the best driver. There is no "best" car. There is no car out there that can guarantee that you will be better and faster than the next guy. Especially when most of them are probably driving the same one as you anyways. You can however lose with any car.

I'll be nice here :P

Ok first you need to decide if you want 4x4 or a 2wd, because that will narrow your options down really fast. A 4x4 will be easier to drive and drive faster. If you want a 4x4 your options are basically the following:
Team Associated B44.1 (or 44), Losi xxx-4 (I would recommend waiting on this one because they are saying there is a new one to be released), Team C TC04 Electric 4WD Buggy, there may be more but your going to have to remind me of the other ones.

Everyone here is mainly brand loyal so finding which one is best is going to come by going to the fast guy at your track. Or if you are bashing I would go with what your local shop has parts support for. Which most likely will be Team Associated.

If you want a 2wd, I dont blame ya because I personally think this is the best class as the races. But I wouldn't recommend a 2wd for bashing because they are so low to the ground and the wheels make it hard to drive off road(unless it's smooth like a track). When it comes to picking a 2wd buggy for racing I would maybe go to the fast guy at your track. But doing that wont always give you the best anwser because I think standing out with what is best for your needs is best.

The Team associated is easier to adapt to conditions and depending on who you ask harder to drive faster. (But see i think it's the other way around)

The Losi 22 is more made for high bite conditions and is harder to adapt to conditions.

As for the other brands I dont know much of.

Since you seem rather new...let me start by saying..Team Associated is the best...don't let the Losi or "I payed twice as much for the same thing" Kyosho guys sway you from the cold hard facts....

Now that the flames have been lit...lets go grab some popcorn and watch the fan girls fight this one out...

Get the brand that your LHS stocks the most parts for or the brand that you can get parts for the easiest. All name brands have there good points and bad points and all can win.

To be honest for the money and if this is your first r/c I would highly recommend the losi mini 8ight. This is a 4wd vehicle and is a excellent bone for you to sharpen your teeth and learn on.
