The option springs are pretty good, but you may want to consider drilling the shock pistons. The holes are pretty small and greatly impede the rebound of the shocks.

I'll be drilling mine tonight, #55 front and rear, all holes. I'm also going to go from 60/50 to 45/40 oil.

They are too soft for sure, the 2 stripe fronts seem to be ok but the single stripe rear is way too soft. I plan on picking up some Losi BB springs friday at Mikes.

I sent an email to Roy at Team-C asking what the various markings on the springs are. This is what he said...

"The more lazer etching marks, the softer the spring.

The stock Big Bore springs are considered Mediums, but they are not marked. When you buy stock replacements, such as the TU0250F/R, you will then see double etch marks on both ends, indicating "Medium" rate. The options available are the single etch marked Hards, and the triple-etch marked Softs.

The current set of Big Bore springs were all originally designed for the front and rear of the TC02 buggy and TC02T stadium truck. Therefore, when setting up an SCT, it has been best to use long (rears) in the front, with or without the little helper springs, depending on chassis weight/bias."

So there you have it.

I am going to copy and paste this onto the first post.
The single stripe springs are too soft for the rear for sure, they barely hold the truck up!

i ran this at the track last night...

front-
Ride height - dogbones level
Shocks- 22t #55 4-hole pistons and 35wt losi oil with Orange Springs w/ ends turned out 3 turns for droop (need up travel spacers!)
Camber- 1.5
toe- 1 to 2 degree out

Rear
ride height- dogbones level
Shocks- 22t #55 Pistons and 30 wt losi oil with yellow springs (uptravel spacers)
camber 1.5
Stock toe block

Diffs-
10k front, 30k center, 7k rear

i use a revtech 4800kv 4 pole, brushless hobbies LT4 esc, savox TG servo and a revtech 6000mah 28c pack.

this truck is stable, responsive, with a ton of steering. its like driving a touring car with jumps the steering doesnt whip the back around it simple rotates the truck in a very controlled manner.

you can literally feel the lightness in the truck as you drive it. it just does what you ask it to do. im coming from driving a 22t and this truck feels very natural to me.

+1 Matts truck was dialed in pretty good last night, mine sucked!!
A couple of things to note:

Matt Dean and I all noticed that the truck was missing off power turn in, this is due to the fact that there is barely any front or rear droop. I turn my shock eyelets out 5 turns and it turned on a freaking Dime, Matt turned his eyelets out 3 turns and it was more than enough BUT he also split an outdrive in the front so make sure you use at least 6mm of limiters on the shock shaft above the eyelets.
Also the Losi and Kyosho pistons will fit but they are just slightly smaller (.005") this is not a big deal and probably the reason Matt can run 4 hole pistons with relatively thick oil. with that being said his suspension was on point! The pistons i had in my truck were 5 hole and i was running 250wt (about 22wt losi ) and my truck was super stiff due to the fact that i had the ID to piston clearance of only .003" which is too tight. i will address that today and test the truck again tomorrow.

i bought some revo endlinks, im going to eliminate the ball cups. dropped out of my first qualifier after one came off, and never got my grove back trying to drive super clean around people after that.

so thats my project for the week.... other things on my mind include trying out a few diff oils,i want to go up in the front and down in the middle. trying some other 22t springs, i just grabbed the heaviest ones on the shelf but im not sure they are necessarily ideal. and playing with droop as marcus mentioned.

i just want to make the truck a solid finisher with a dialed set-up that i feel comfortable handing the controller over to and them wanting to buy a TS4 afterwards!

Ran my first race in the vehicle at Mike's Hobby Shop in Dallas. Qd 5th for A-Main and finished 4th in an all losi field. I love the steering in this truck and love the way it handles. Still trying to dial in the spring rate as it still a tad quick. I will try the 22T BB pistons with the above to see if i can slow down the spring rate, other than that, this truck is on rails.
Couple mods I have made, Changed the ballcups to captured ends on the steering knuckle, as well as on the inner front camberlink. Did have issues as Hyper did with the up travel and breaking off the outdrive, added a 3mm spacer to resolve the issue. Also went to longer screws on the bottom shock mount as I had the original back out in my second heat.
